Aliona Baroncea-Strâmbeanu, the new director of the “JOC” Ensemble, told us more about how she took over the leadership of the most important group of dancers in the country, as well about what are the problems and the achievements of the ensemble:
Appeared on August 23, 1945, the National Folk Dance Ensemble “Joc” is collectively emeritus from the Republic of Moldova, laureate of many republican and international competitions. The choreographies that have made us world famous throughout the world are: “Hora mare”, “Bătuta”, “Hora fetelor”, “Brîul”, “Sîrba”, “Crăiţele”, “Moldavian wedding”, the musical- choreographic “Drăgaica” and others.
