At its ordinary working meeting held on Wednesday afternoon, the Moldovan Government dismissed several officials from sensitive state posts: Deputy Minister of Justice Elena Mocanu, Deputy Minister of the Interior Genadie Cosovan, Director of the National Agency for Medicines Boris Golovin, Director of the National Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre Alexander Bannikov, and Director of the National Apele Moldovei Agency [water authority] Veaceslav Iordan.
The Government has filled practically all these vacancies with new people. Thus, parliamentary ombudsman Oleg Efrim has become Deputy Minister of Justice, Octavian Grama – Deputy Minister of Health, Iurie Captanaru – Deputy Minister of the Interior, and Roman Cazan – Deputy State Minister.
