A meeting of OSCE member-countries foreign ministers will be held in Ljubljana on December 5. The parties would urge Russia categorically to fulfill the “Istanbul agreements” concerning withdrawal of troops from neighboring countries. Besides, some countries plan to propose a draft resolution that would condemn the new Russian law on non-profit organizations. <\/p>\n

GUAM member-states (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldavia) are expected to act as a united front. They will urge Russia to follow the agreements that envisage withdrawal of troops from Georgia and Transdnestr. <\/p>\n

Another threat to the Russian delegation concerns the Kremlin policy of strengthening control over non-profit organizations. A group of the participators of the meeting has reportedly prepared an appropriate document and plans to include it into the agenda of the meeting.
