Romania will take over from Moldova the presidency of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) member-states during the regional forum to be held in Chisinau on October 28. <\/p>\n

According to Andrei Statan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the members of the forum will sign the Memorandum Agreement between BSEC and the International Organization for Migration, and the Common Declaration on BSEC and EU relations. Moldova will sign the Additional Protocol on Fighting Terrorism. <\/p>\n

Moldova’s priorities as BSEC president focused on the security problems in the Black Sea region, on the development of transport and infrastructure, energy, information technologies, agriculture, and on a good government. A number of events have been organized in Chisinau during its tenure. Some of them are the regional conference of heads of Agencies for Combating Economic Frauds from BSEC member-states, the International Conference “Diminishing the Impact of Disasters with Natural and Technogen Character on the Environment and Society”, the meeting of the Working Group in the field of tourism of the BSEC member-states etc. <\/p>\n
