On Wednesday the Alliance for Democracy and Reforms did not reachto a consensus regarding the candidature for the position of Prime Minister.In the discussion was just one candidature, the one of Nicolae Andronic,proposed again by President of the Renaissance and Conciliation Party (RCPM)Mircea Snegur.<\/p>\n

After consulting, press declarations made only Vice-Parliament Speaker IurieRosca, leader of the Popular Christian-Democratic Front (PCDF). He mentioned that President Lucinschi gave ADR a term of 24 hours to nominalize a single candidate for the position of Prime Minister, "whom he will appoint". Roscadeclared that the debates were "astonishing and controversial", because"the Renaissance and Conciliation Party, that declares itself in continuationas being The Democratic Convention from Moldova, is promoting the candidatureof Nicolae Andronic for the position of Prime-Minister, even if the rest components do not accept this candidature". Rosca mentioned, that this pointof view is expressed directly only by his group.<\/p>\n

"We are forced to say that we will not support this candidature. We do havesufficient arguments in this sense and I do hope that tomorrow to a commonpoint will be reached", declared Rosca.<\/p>\n

Answering to one of the questions, Iurie Rosca mentioned that "other candidatures were not discussed because documents related to ADR creation arebeing examined". According to them, DCM is the formation that proposes thecandidate for the position of Prime-Minister. But, – declared Rosca, – in the situation in which "it seams that politically DCM does not exist anymore", and "according to the Parliament Regulation, it actually exists", it is"immoral" that RCPM to ignore the documents of DCM creation, by promoting one"favourite" of one party.<\/p>\n

"In general, – declared Iurie Rosca, – I as rather worried by the fact thatthis political party manifests a very dangerous inflexibility and a desireto impose its point of view with any price in ADR, even with the price ofdissolving the current majority, of anticipated elections, that I do not thinkcan be of any advantage for anyone. All speak about the Communist danger andno one wants to dialogue".<\/p>\n

Iurie Rosca re-confirmed the idea that "the most dangerous for Moldova is corruption and Mafia elements that penetrate many political structures from Moldova".<\/p>\n

"Do not expect to obtain immediately concrete names and do not expect to witness some judiciary decisions in this sense, – said Rosca, – from the simplemotive that law bodies are as well penetrated by persons of these elements,that liquidate all that is called public money and hope to improve the nationaleconomy of Moldova.<\/p>\n
