Many important politicians and analysts attended. Adrian Severin, Dan Pavel, Teodor Melescanu, Victor Babiuc and ZIUA director Sorin Rosca Stanescu were some of the attendants. <\/p>\n<p>Rhetorically good relations <\/p>\n<p>Liberal senator Teodor Melescanu opined that at rhetorical level Romanian-American relations were the best ever in the history of the two states, but there was need for dynamic policy along with the rhetoric. Teodor Melescanu, vice president of the Senate Foreign Affairs Commission, said that excellent relations needed to be backed by more serious contacts and more thorough policy on foreign affairs consulting and more.
