Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration accredited Cesare De Montis as Ambassador and Head of European Commission’s Delegation to Moldova. <\/p>\n

Cesare De Montis is the first head of the European Commission’s Delegation to Moldova, a European Commission press communiqué informs. The delegation will be officially opened on October 6 by Benita Ferrero-Waldner, EU Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy. <\/p>\n

Cesare De Montis started his career with the European Commission in 1984. He held several positions at the Directorate General for Development and External Relations among which the post of head of unit for Andean Pact. In 2001-2005 Cesare De Montis was the Head of European Commission’s Delegation to Venezuela. <\/p>\n
