In the context, Sova specified that the definitive delimitation of competences between Chisinau and Tiraspol will be discussed with representatives of region&rsquo;s supreme soviet elected during free, democratic and transparent elections, following then to be stipulated in the bill on the fundamentals of the special legal status of the localities from the left bank of the Dniester <\/p>\n<p>Terry Davis expressed interest in the observation by the Council of Europe of the probable elections in the parliament of the Transdniestrian region, organized by the International Electoral Commission under the aegis of the OSCE. At the same time, Davis emphasized that region&rsquo;s democratization is a multilateral and lasting process that requires the concerted efforts of all the involved sides. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Even the implementation of the basic criteria of region&rsquo;s democratization makes the holding of free and democratic elections by the end of the current year impossible.
