Moldovan MPs have formed 36 friendship groups with the Parliaments of over 50 states, the most numerous friendship group being with Russia and the smallest with Armenia. <\/p>\n

According to the president of the Commission for foreign policy, Communist MP Sergiu Stati, the main criterion of forming these delegations was proportional representation of all political forces in the Parliament. <\/p>\n

Thus, 20 out of 36 friendship groups will be led by the Communist MPs: those with the states of South-Eastern Europe, Austria, Belarus, Benelux states, Bulgaria, US, Czech Republic, Scandinavic countries, Baltic countries, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kuweit, UK, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Hungary. <\/p>\n

MPs of Our Moldova Alliance will lead eight friendship delegations – those with the countries of Africa, Armnenia, Azerbaijan, countries of Latin America, Swiss, Japan, Portugal and Turkey. <\/p>\n

Four friendship groups, those with Canada, Georgia, Poland and Slovakia will be led by the Christian-democrats, and those with Cyprus, countries of Central Asia and Spain will be led by the Democratic MPs. For the independent candidates it was reserved one friendship group with Slovenia, led by Oleg Serebrean. <\/p>\n

The most numerous friendship group is that with the Russian Federation led by the leader of the Communist Party Eugenia Ostapciuc, counting 52 MPs, 28 of which are Communists, 12 from AMN, 11 Christian-democrats and one MP of the Democratic Party.
