The Moldovan delegation in the Unified Control Commission (UCC) drafted a Plan of measures to stabilize the situation in the Security Zone of the Republic of Moldova. The letter containing these measures signed by the Minister of Reintegration Vasile Sova, was sent to the mediators in the process of settling the Transdniestrian conflict and to co-presidents of the UCC. <\/p>\n

The Document proposes the evacuation from the Security Zone of the Transdniestrian frontier guard, customs and migration checkpoints, as well as internal customs and fiscal checkpoints of the Republic of Moldova. These measures are going to be implemented till July 10, in Dorotcaia, and till August 1 in the rest of sectors of the Security Zone. The public order in the Security Zone is going to be guaranteed by the joint peacekeeping forces, police and militia. <\/p>\n

The plan also envisages interdiction of unilateral actions towards the disorganization of the UCC activity. It is proposed that till July 15, the circulation of the transport over the Dniester bridge from Gura-Baculu – Bacioc region to be resumed, and till July 29 the exchange of data about the structure, number and deployment of the military units and weapons to be finished. It is also recommended to ensure monitoring and inspections of any objects from the Security Zone under the OSCE aegis at the proposal of one of the sides of the UCC. <\/p>\n
