Helmut Kurt stated that this conference aims at improving and extending the economic, cultural, scientific, humanitarian and civic cooperation between Moldova and Germany. <\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Helmut Kurt stated that although the Republic of Moldova won certain sympathy on the part of the EU, the European values must be promoted more actively at the level of the whole society, and officials&rsquo; declarations should be confirmed through facts. &quot;There would appear problems if the Moldovan society keeps its soviet mentality and instead of working in the direction of Europeanization it will expect the European integration as the sunrise,&quot; said Kurt. He also underlined that implementation of the EU &#8211; Moldova Plan of Actions will create problems, as for example that of identity, through which all the ex-soviet states that adhered to the EU have passed. <\/p>\n<p>In his turn, Foreign Minister, Andrei Stratan has pronounced himself for intensification of cooperation between our country and Germany, both at diplomatic level ad in the economic field.
