Such is the finding of a mini-research carried out by Infotag in the framework of the Independent Press Days continuing in this republic. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Infotag correspondents analyzed stories issued by the most popular 5 Russian-language newspapers and 5 Internet editions in all the CIS member countries. The researchers scrutinized th latest 20 articles and news stories that contained mentions of Moldova in this or another way. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The biggest number of negative stories about nationals of mm and the republic as a whole is disseminated by Moskovsky Komsomolets, a very popular Moscow paper, &#8212; 55% (32% stories being neutral, and 13% &#8212; with positive attitude to Moldova). <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Of Russian new agencies, the most active and pretentious information producers are Regnum and Lenta.ru agencies. Cold and unbiased are Interfax, RBC.RU and Prime TASS &#8211; 60% of their information about Moldova is neutral, and even if it contains negative moments, these agencies refrain from commenting the events. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Infotag believes such preferences largely depend on agencies&#8217; traditions. For instance, Regnum and Lenta.ru focus on domestic Russian news and on a wider analysis of the international situation. As a result, their publications oftentimes contain police news involving citizens of Moldova. Interfax, RBC.RU and Prime-TASS concentrate on economic and political problems, and are very particular about delivering information to their consumers as soon as possible, offering them to make conclusions themselves. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The proportion of negative information about Moldova in the Ukrainian mass media is 26%, with 54% information being neutral and 20% positive. Most often, Moldova is mentioned in the context of the Transnistrian problem, Customs issues, and GUUAM affairs.
