Social Democratic Party of Moldova (PSDM) considers that the political system of our country is unstable and deficient and pleads for its reformation.<\/p>\n

PSDM leaders have presented on Monday at a press conference the position of the Party regarding the post-electoral situation in Moldova. They said that majority of voters have pronounced themselves for change, but the election of the communist President, Vladimir Voronin as head of state and the way in which the Government was formed proved that the Communist Party continues to promote the same unilateral position.<\/p>\n

Member of the PSDM Central Bureau, Eduard Musuc stated that parliamentary opposition parties have disappointed their electorate when they backed the candidacy of Voronin for the position of president, and have created a governing coalition made up of the Communist Party (PCRM), Christian Democratic People’s Party (PPCD), Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) and Social Liberal Party (PSL). Social-democrats also consider that if PPCD, PDM and PSL did not elect the makeup of the Government that does not relieve them of the responsibility for the results of the council of ministers’ activity.<\/p>\n

Social-democrats consider that reconfiguration of the political spectrum, that happened after the elections, was possible due to the instability and deficiency of the political system in the Republic of Moldova.
