\"\"INTERLIC. The Incumbent RM Minister of Economy Marian Lupu will be the new Parliament Speaker. As INTERLIC News agency reports, this decision has been taken today at the plenum of the Central Committee of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova. <\/p>\n

The plenum of the Central Committee of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova has also recommended to move Maria Postoico, which was the Chairman of the Juridical commission for Appointments and Immunity in the previous Parliament, for the post of a Vice-Speaker. <\/p>\n

In the course of the plenum, the participants have unanimously voted for moving the incumbent President for the post of the RM President. <\/p>\n

It should be noted that Marian Lupu is not a member of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova, but he was on the electoral slate of the Party. It is planned that the ex-Speaker Eugenia Ostapciuc will become the Chairman of the Parliamentary faction of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova. According to RM President Vladimir Voronin, the most probable candidate for the post of the RM Premier is Vasile Tarlev. <\/p>\n

Let us remind that the Members of the new Parliament of the XVI convocation, elected in the result of the Parliamentary elections on March 16, will have their first sitting on March 24. According to the Law in force the Parliament Speaker and the leading institutions of the Parliament must be elected at its first sitting. <\/p>\n

Moldova is a Parliamentary republic, that is why the Parliament will elect the new President, who can be elected by 3\/5 of the votes of the Parliament or at least 61 Parliamentaries.
