As reported by INTERLIC agency, in the press conferences on results of the first official visit to the republic, he emphasized that is deeply indignant of the fact that certain political forces from abroad put pressure on Moldavian citizens during the electoral campaign, trying to force for the right decision to be taken with the help of blackmail and threats to force to make at elections the necessary decision. Michael Saakashvili called it inadmissible that people of a sovereign state took some decisions under dictatorship of any foreign political forces, which have imposed their will. <\/p>\n

“People practicing black-mail and violence in regard to Moldova do not understand, that they have broken their necks in several places already”. “They have broken their necks in the Ukraine, have broken their neck in Georgia. I do not know, how many of these necks they have, because they continue breaking them, but also continue to proceed in the same spirit” – Mihail Saakashvili declared. <\/p>\n

“It is time for these people to calm down, settle and understand that their world has already left, is gone, and it will never again be restored” – he emphasized. The Georgian president said pleads for the future relations between states be built as between equal subjects, for all peoples to have rights, and for no one to be able dictate to the people how to develop and whom to elect”. “The People cannot be bribed, intimidated and blackmailed”, Michael Saakashvili has emphasized. <\/p>\n

Speaking of the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Moldova, the Georgian president has expressed hope that they will be free and democratic. " If they will develop peacefully and democratically, Moldova will become a prosperous and successful European state and fine perspectives will open ahead”, the Georgian president has noted.
