\"\"Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections Coalition 2005 will carry out on the day of elections a parallel counting of the votes. Those over 2000 national observers accredited on the part of the organization will witness the counting and will fill out the copies of the minutes drawn up by the electoral bureaus of each polling station after finding out the vote’s results. The copies of the minutes will be signed by the presidents of the electoral bureaus and will be stamped, and after that they will be centralized in the data base of Coalition 2005 and processed. <\/p>\n

According to LADOM president, Paul Strutzescu, the results of the parallel counting will be made public after Central Election Commission (CEC) will announce the preliminary results of the poll. Any non-coordination between the results of the CEC and those ascertained by the observers will reveal the falsification of the minutes with the vote results “on their way” from the polling station to CEC. <\/p>\n

Thus, the population and electoral opponents will have an independent source of informing about the results of the poll, the parallel counting of the votes being practiced in the last 15 years in many of European states, as Romania, Slovakia, Albania. <\/p>\n
