Romania’s President, Traian Basecu discussed in London with British Prime Minister Tony Blair the situation in the Republic of Moldova. Those two officials have underlined that \"AFP\"the delegating to our country of a permanent representative of EU will facilitate the implementation of integration approaches of our country to European Community. <\/p>\n

According to the presidential press service, Vladimir Voronin had a telephone conversation on Wednesday with his Romanian counterpart Traian Basescu who has come back from a recent visit to UK. <\/p>\n

Traian Basescu informed Vladimir Voronin about the discussions held with UK Prime Minister Tony Blair regarding the situation in the Republic of Moldova. According to Basescu, during the discussions those two officials have underlined the necessity of supporting by international community of the Republic of Moldova’s efforts to integrate in the EU. <\/p>\n

During the telephone conversation between Vladimir Voronin and Traian Basescu it was also discussed the perspective of Drochia-Falesti-Ungheni-Iasi gas pipeline construction and aspects related to the forthcoming visit to Romania of a delegation from Chisinau that will study the experience of the neighbor country in restoring and constructing of roads. <\/p>\n
