They were competitive and freedom of choice was mostly respected. [&#8230;] People who monitored the elections confirmed that the legislative framework was good enough to ensure free and democratic elections, but there are still some shortcomings that need to be addressed to ensure that appeals are resolved in a fair and impartial manner,&#8221;<\/em> claimed Head of the OSCE Delegation, Stefan Schennach.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the <strong>European Parliament&#8217;s Delegation<\/strong>, David Maccilster, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.privesc.eu\/arhiva\/95667\">stated<\/a> that cases of organized transportation of voters to polling stations in the Transnistrian region have been reported. <em>&#8220;The results of these elections must become a starting point after which a new Government can accelerate some ambitious reforms,&#8221;<\/em> he also said.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Although some of the most important decisions of the Central Electoral Commission have called into question the impartiality of some CEC members, the election campaign was competitive.
