The Moldovan official mentioned that the signed document is a logical continuation of the cooperation with the two countries, being aimed to streamline trilateral dialogue and diplomatic efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The signed <a href=\"https:\/\/mfa.gov.md\/ro\/content\/memorandum-understanding-between-ministry-foreign-affairs-ukraine-ministry-foreign-affairs\">memorandum<\/a> provides cooperation regarding the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expanding the agenda of the dialogues between European Commission and \u201cAssociation Trio\u201d, in addition to the DCFTA-related issues, to new thematic areas for enhanced cooperation, such as <span style=\"color: #993300;\">transport, energy, digital transformation, green economy, justice and home affairs, strategic communications, healthcare;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Looking beyond DCFTA framework and elaborating additional tools to facilitate \u00a0and speed up integration of the \u201cAssociation Trio\u201d into the EU Internal Market;<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing security and defence cooperation with the EU with the special focus on countering hybrid threats, strengthening cyber resilience, developing cooperation platforms with the EU Hybrid Fusion Cell and EU Cyber Security Agency, participation in CSDP missions and operations as well as participation in the EU Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) projects;<\/li>\n<li>Promoting further engagement of the \u201cAssociation Trio\u201d in the EU framework programs and agencies;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Supporting mobilization of the EU robust assistance to uphold complex reforms by the \u201cAssociation Trio\u201d and ensuring their access to alternative funds and resources at EU\u2019s disposal, including for implementation of the projects of common interest;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating joint efforts within the Eastern Partnership, based on European aspirations and common needs of the Association Trio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the ministers, the consolidation of diplomatic efforts is also relevant in the context of the Eastern Partnership Summit, which will be held in the autumn of this year, as the associated countries remain fully engaged in cooperation processes within the EaP and have a common ambitious agenda of getting closer to the European Union.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;By officialising the cooperation in this format we remain committed to full-fledged cooperation within the Eastern Partnership with all other participants. [&#8230;] In achieving our final goal on joining European Union in mid and long term perspective, we have to join our efforts and act in common, in order to fulfil our homework being eligible as soon as possible. Not asking, but being invited to join the European Union. In Minsk, a joint <a href=\"https:\/\/multimedia.parlament.md\/zinaida-greceanii-declaratia-comuna-inaugureaza-o-noua-etapa-a-colaborarii-molo-belaruse-in-care-parlamentelor-le-revine-un-rol-distinct\/\">declaration on cooperation<\/a> between the legislatures of the two countries was signed. Moldova can build good relations with all its neighbours (and not only). Still, <span style=\"color: #993300;\">the manifestation of such contrasting positions in such a short period can fuel internal geopolitical confusions<\/span>, especially before the parliamentary elections.
