What is not normal and acceptable in a society though, is to use all these differences for creating barriers, disparities, conflicts between people &#8211; a strategy that is often followed by the political actors from Moldova.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, when it comes to electing political leaders and the government of the country, everyone, no matter how different voters are, want the same thing: to leave in peace and prosperity on their own land, next to their families, without being forced to emigrate, enduring poverty, deception, discrimination or lack of support when needed the most.<\/p>\n<h3>Moldovan voters grow old<\/h3>\n<p>Out of the 184 thousand people, over <span style=\"color: #993300;\">78%<\/span> are young people aged 18-29. Whereas in 2016 young people numbered 524 thousand and represented 23.6% of the voting population, their number decreased to 381 thousand, representing a share of only 18.4% of the total number of voters in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>These figures involve a huge change in voter turnover and its structure.
