The 19th edition of the national exhibition “Made in Moldova”<\/strong>\u00a0has opened its doors for visitors today. Between January 29 to February 02, 460<\/strong> local entrepreneurs, from different industrial areas will present their products and services at the national level exhibition held on the territory of the International Exhibition Centre Moldexpo, <\/em>as it is announced<\/a> by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is structured based on the thematic content, having a total surface of 3300 square metres, including indoor and outdoor stands. The indoor pavilions host entrepreneurs in agriculture, food and beverage, furniture producers,\u00a0companies providing services, educational institutions, non-governmental organisations, craftsmen. etc. The outdoor pavilions are occupied by\u00a0tents that trade with bee, agricultural and catering products.<\/p>\n

The exhibition also includes a common stand of entrepreneurs from Romania and Russia<\/strong>. For the first time, eco products<\/span> manufactured in Moldova are also exhibited.<\/p>\n

Peter Michalko<\/strong>, head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, who was present at the exhibition opening, mentioned that today’s event is of major national and international importance, given the fact that delegations from 15 states came to Moldova\u00a0these days, being interested in cooperating with local entrepreneurs.\u00a0“I would like to mention that, from this year, farmers in the Republic of Moldova will be able to export larger quantities of plums, grapes and cherries to the EU, without paying customs duties. It demonstrates the openness of the EU towards Moldovan citizens and local businesses,”<\/em> said Peter Michalko.<\/p>\n

The national exhibition “Made in Moldova” is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova<\/strong>, under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova<\/strong>, in partnership with the Investment Agency<\/strong> and the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium Enterprises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The main purpose of the exhibition is to support local producers, promote competitive products on the domestic and foreign market, attract investment, intensify the public-private dialogue and promote the image of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n
