“We are ready to support the Government of Maia Sandu. It is the firm position of the Socialist Party of Moldova. We will secure the vote of our faction in the Moldovan Parliament in order to implement the reforms that the Government of Sandu will promote. We will do our utmost to keep this parliamentary majority desirable throughout the mandate, for as long as possible” said Dodon after the SPM Republican Council meeting.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Socialists would like the parliamentary majority of themselves along with the ‘ACUM’ bloc to work over the next four years. At least, that is what President Igor Dodon told the journalists.<\/p>\n

When journalists asked about why the Socialists voted for the change the electoral system along with Plahotniuc’s Democratic Party, Dodon mentioned that he sees no problem in what happened.<\/p>\n

Note that Igor Dodon will leave to Minsk at the end of the week, where he will meet Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak. The meeting will take place on June 21st, said the on Dodon’s Facebook page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
