Chief of State Igor Dodon said that a parliamentary majority could be formed and elected the government over the next two days, or else Monday will have to dissolve the legislature, writes<\/a> ZdG. All this happened in Sankt-Peterburg, where he attends the International Economic Forum.<\/p>\n

Even though, until now, the Constitutional Court did not respond to the president when exactly the legal term in which the Cabinet of Ministers was to expire, Dodon declared the information.<\/p>\n

“In the coming days, we can form a new government. Therefore, if no parliamentary majority will be formed by the Government, I will have to dissolve Parliament at the beginning of next week on Monday,” said<\/a> Igor Dodon.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Two weeks ago, President Igor Dodon filed a petition to the Constitutional Court in order to clarify when the three months in which parties that have access to Parliament can create a parliamentary majority. However, during this time, the Court did not expose itself to this issue and there is no information on the date on which the President’s referral is being considered on the institution’s website.<\/p>\n

On June 5 and 6, the Action and Solidarity Party announced, together with the Dignity and Truth Platform, that they are ready to vote for a Socialist Party speaker<\/strong>. It would happen if the socialists accept more conditionalities, including the support for Maia Sandu’s candidacy as PM, as well as voting anti-oligarchy laws.<\/strong><\/p>\n
