Thus, on the basis of an order, the registration of the vessel was suspended from the State Register of Ships.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, the National Agency of Moldova mentioned that the ship carried on its military equipment. The owner of the ship was contacted and requested detailed information about the case.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the provisions of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/sections\/issues-depth\/oceans-and-law-sea\/\">UN Convention on the Law of the Sea<\/a> (to which the Republic of Moldova is part of), the Naval Agency of Moldova will cooperate with the national and international bodies involved in the investigation of the given case, present the information necessary for the proper conduct of the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jurnal.md\/ro\/news\/597d5c9495863b6a\/o-nava-sub-pavilionul-rm-a-transportat-rachete-anti-tanc-si-anti-aeriene-din-turcia-in-libia-in-ciuda-embargoului-onu.html\">JurnalMD<\/a>, the ship under the Moldavian flag has transported a large number of weapons, including<strong> anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles<\/strong>, into the Tripoli port of Libya.
