On the 6th of April, GirlsGoIT begins its 4-week Spring Bootcamp training on Introduction to Software development in 8 regions in Moldova. More than 90 girls between the ages of 14 to 20, from 8 regions in Moldova are going to participate in the local club training program and learn the foundation of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Spring Bootcamp are organised by GirlsGoIT ambassadors and the program will take place in their local clubs: GGIT in Calarasi<\/a>, GGIT in Balti<\/a>, GGIT in Soroca<\/a>, GGIT in Ungheni<\/a>, GGIT in Orhei<\/a>, GGIT in Causeni<\/a>, GGIT in Salcuta<\/a> and GGIT in Straseni<\/a><\/p>\n

The aim of the spring bootcamp is to encourage girls with no knowledge or background in choose tech or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) path, by empowering them to have better education and employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

The participants of the spring bootcamp will have the opportunity to continue their software development experience at GirlsGoIT 5th Summer STEM camp edition<\/a> in July. Some of the participants will have the opportunity to be selected for internships with tech companies.<\/p>\n

GirlsGoIT<\/a> is implemented by TEKEDU<\/a> and it is supported and in strategic partnership with The Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection<\/a> and Ellation<\/a>.
