The political bloc ACUM<\/strong> recently announced its refusal to participate in the tripartite consultations initiated by President Igor Dodon and to negotiate with the Democratic Party of Moldova (DPM<\/strong>). Instead, they invited<\/a> the “deputies who are not controlled by the oligarchic regime,”<\/em> to “public and transparent discussions on improving, adopting and implementing the package of anti-oligarchic legislative initiatives”. <\/em><\/p>\n

The DPM<\/strong> spokesman, Vitalie G\u0103murari, reacted by\u00a0describing<\/a> the intentions of ACUM<\/strong> as a “political war and blackmail actions in Parliament while trying to destabilize the situation in the country.”<\/em> He\u00a0qualified the bloc’s actions as irresponsible and as “a\u00a0real political gaffe.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The situation aggravated when at the talks on the anti-oligarchic package initiated by the bloc ACUM<\/strong> came 3 Members of Parliament (MPs) from the “\u0218or<\/strong>” Party, including Marina Tauber – the MP who\u00a0is mentioned in the Kroll report as being involved in the Great Moldovan Bank Robbery, along with the leader of the party, Ilan\u00a0\u0218or. The members of the bloc ACUM refused to talk to them and left the room.\u00a0 The representatives of the\u00a0“\u0218or” Party\u00a0said<\/a> that the gesture of the MPs from ACUM is unserious and that they “have not yet left the electoral campaign.”<\/em> At the same time, Marina Tauber declared that they came only to discuss, as they have their own legislative initiatives to propose.<\/p>\n

As the political bloc ACUM refused to talk with the DPM and the\u00a0“\u0218or” Party representatives, it can be concluded that their invitation was addressed to the PSRM<\/strong> members only. This was confirmed by Andrei N\u0103stase, one of the leaders of the political bloc ACUM, who declared for a TV channel that the PSRM should prove that they are for the de-oligarchization of the Republic of Moldova and could do this by supporting the package of laws proposed by the bloc ACUM, as IPN reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, the PSRM leader, Zinaida Grecean\u00eei, stated<\/a> that the PSRM members were not present at the talks initiated by the ACUM because they were not invited. According to her, MPs were invited, while PSRM is an integral faction.\u00a0“The Party of Socialists was not invited. Only the MPs were invited. We are an integral faction and we have not been invited as a faction,”<\/em> Grecean\u00eei declared.<\/p>\n

Instead, the PSRM<\/strong> participated on April 2nd at the consultations with the DPM<\/strong>, initiated by President Igor Dodon. Again, no consensus was reached.\u00a0Grecean\u00eei\u00a0declared<\/a> that the DPM leaders will be convened and a decision will be taken later. She said that at the moment a coalition formation\u00a0with the PDM wasn’t discussed yet. The DPM leader, Vlad Plahotniuc, said<\/a>\u00a0that the purpose of the consultations was to simply listen each other and that some common elements and divergences were discovered during the consultations. The discussions and negotiations are going to last and, maybe, won’t be held officially only.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Political pundit Anatol \u021a\u0103ranu noted<\/a> for IPN that the parties that would constitute the parliamentary majority would be put in the situation to do real politics, due to the harsh opposition represented by the bloc ACUM. \u201cAny mistake, any inconsistency or even attempt to promote oligarchic policies by political parties will be penalized by people who could migrate to the pole of absolutely dissatisfied people,\u201d<\/strong> said \u021a\u0103ranu.<\/p>\n

Therefore, a really sensitive situation was created by the political parties that entered the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova: a political bloc (ACUM) announced it’s intention to be consistent and to work only with people who are not controlled by the oligarchic regime, a parliamentary faction (PSRM) keeps its doors open for negotiations, on their own terms and territory though, another\u00a0parliamentary faction (DPM) that is directly responsible for the today’s political and economical situation in the country, even though they blame anyone else, wishing to remain in power at any cost, and 7 puppets organised in the political party\u00a0 “\u0218or” that have their own role – to keep up a masquerade.<\/p>\n

Is it really possible for them to form a coalition and, consequently, a government?<\/p>\n
