Today, Japan’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Masanobu Yoshii, presented the new accredited military attach\u00e9 for our country, headquartered in Kiev, Lieutenant Colonel Daichi Sakamoto.<\/p>\n

To Defense Minister Eugen Sturza, Lieutenant Colonel Daichi Sakamoto declared that he is honored to have the military attach\u00e9 function for our country and will make efforts to initiate projects that will help to increase collaboration on different segments.<\/p>\n

According to the Defense Ministry, Eugen Sturza congratulated the military diplomat on appointment and wished him success in the exercise of his mandate.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Minister of Defense informed the two officials about the current state of military reform, with emphasis on the Professional Army Program, the development of the body of non-commissioned officers, sergeants and soldiers, the implementation of the DCBI package, the participation of the National Army in peacekeeping operations, and activities carried out by the defense institution.<\/p>\n

In turn, Masanobu Yoshii mentioned that the role of the military diplomat being a vital one and therefore, his country is interested in developing a beneficial partnership for both armies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
