The statement was made after the Constitutional Court had validated the mandates of the 101 elected deputies on 24 February 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdg.md\/stiri\/stiri-politice\/reactia-lui-igor-dodon-dupa-ce-curtea-constitutionala-a-validat-alegerile-parlamentare\">writes ZdG<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Whether a majority coalition of political parties that have obtained the confidence of citizens or whether we have early parliamentary elections, the parties have to clearly state their position and assume their consequences. I personally, as President of the country, will initiate talks with the main political forces that have arrived in Parliament to find together optimal solutions for the country in the current post-electoral context,&#8221; the head of state declared.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I recall to political leaders that national interest is above all, and we must always lead this desiderate.
