Today, a\u00a0distinctive protest took place in the Great National Assembly Square. The protest was peaceful and silent, where there was no chant and no speeches held. The generic was “Protesting with the family”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Thus, dozens of people brought a pair of footwear of relatives who left abroad.<\/p>\n

“Our families left not willingly but out of hard life”.<\/p>\n

“People are leaving this country, and behind them are broken souls. They leave holidays behind, holidays they will no longer attend, they leave years behind, they leave their own parents and, in the most painful cases, they leave their children until they can all leave together for good. They leave with the hope that they will return. But this, we already know, is not happening,” the organizers of the action showed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to them, those who brought the shoes represented those who left because of poverty and showed support for those who would make hundreds of km just to be able to vote.<\/p>\n
