The study systematically records the Kremlin&#8217;s interference in the electoral campaign for the February 24th elections, to which Russia attaches particular importance to other past elections.<\/p>\n<p>The analysis shows that the impact of the manipulation campaigns coming from Russia is very high. <strong>Media propaganda products have been created, targeting the public in Moldova, with an impact of over one million views.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are very strong advertising campaigns on Facebook and OK.ru. Russian state institutions, including security forces, are making open efforts to support a particular electoral competitor &#8211; Moldovan Socialist Party and Igor Dodon.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/argumentua.com\/sites\/default\/files\/imagecache\/Full_tekst_600x\/article\/630_360_1494664913-4107.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The main narrative is the denigration of the US and the EU by associating them with the unpopular regime in Chi\u015fin\u0103u and its leader Vlad Plahotniuc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of all the possible post-electoral scenarios, negative for the Russian Federation, it is only one in which the absolute victory will be won by the electoral bloc &#8220;ACUM&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Maintaining the current governance format seems to be the most positive scenario for Moscow in the long run.\u00a0Dodon has become so special for Putin that, mocking, he recalls the President of Moldova in response to accusations against Russia regarding interference in the internal politics of other states:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Ask Dodon, he knows.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But the domestic context in Russia could push the Russian president to force a pro-Russian government headed by the Socialist Party of Moldova (alone or with coalition partners).<\/p>\n<p>Even a scenario of destabilization after the Ukrainian model in 2014 cannot be ruled out.
