The found abuses\u00a0refer to the placement of mobile stations with &#8220;border guards&#8221; and &#8220;customs&#8221; at the intersection of some streets separating Bender from Varnita village and Bender-2 railway station.<\/p>\n<p>Each time, when the Moldovan military representative in the Military Commandment Force of the Joint Force of Peacekeeping calls for military observers to be sent to the scene to fix the violation in the prescribed manner, the representative of Tiraspol deliberately delays this process, giving Transnistrian forces the possibility, and withdraws &#8220;posts&#8221; before being documented by all components of the peacekeeping format.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the abuses, although ascertained by the Moldovan side, were not included in the weekly report of the Joint Military Command.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova, by adopting a categorical position, refused to approve the report on the situation in the Security Zone as incomplete.<\/p>\n<p>In an arrogant manner regarding the mentioned incidents, the representative of the Transnistrian force structures\u00a0did not deny the existence of such mobile stations and did not rule out such other situations in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The Delegation of the Republic of Moldova to the JCC states that these cases are still evidence of the inefficiency of the current procedures for monitoring the Security Zone and that they need to be improved.<\/p>\n<h4>But the proposals and requirements formulated by the Moldovan side were not supported by the leaders of the delegations of the Transnistrian region and of the Russian Federation.<\/h4>\n<p>At the same time, in connection with the electoral poll held on 24 February, the Moldovan delegation made an effort to ensure the rule of law in the localities of the Security Zone both during the election campaign and on the day of the elections.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the members of the Commission signed a public address to the Security Zone residents with a message to voluntarily surrender illegal weapons and ammunition to the law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> 2<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minutes<\/span><\/span>The Moldovan delegation elucidated several serious violations committed during 18-22 January 2019 by the so-called Transdniestrian Structure Structures in the town of Bender, a settlement with a higher security regime.
