Igor Dodon recently announced that he will not run for the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019, saying he will focus his attention on the role of President of Moldova and that he will not get involved in the electoral campaign. However, Dodon declared his support the party that has advanced him to the position of president – the Party of Socialists of Moldova.<\/p>\n

Dodon believes that “there is a real chance to change” in the upcoming elections, and for the politicians who have been in government in the Republic of Moldova in recent years.<\/p>\n

However, we remind you that, formerly, Igor Dodon admitted that he could run for parliamentary elections on the list of Socialists, but President of Parliament and Democratic Party member Andrian Candu cut him off in a TV show at the end of October 2018, declaring that “he has no right”.<\/p>\n
