Thus, in the uninominal electoral constituency no. 49 to the east of the Republic of Moldova – 27 polling stations will be organized, for the uninominal electoral constituency no. 50 to the west of the Republic of Moldova – 83 polling stations, and for the uninominal electoral constituency no. 51 USA, Canada – 15 polling stations.<\/p>\n

The CEC ruling comes after the government has issued a decision that has determined that 125 polling stations will be opened outside of the country for the February 24 parliamentary vote. Most sections will be opened in Italy (29), Romania and USA (12), Russian Federation (11), France (7), Portugal and Spain (5 each).<\/p>\n

Four polling stations will be opened in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, three in the Ukraine, Canada and Turkey, and two sections in Israel, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Ireland and Germany.<\/p>\n

Only one polling station will be opened in Greece, China, Azerbaijan, Poland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Austria, Bulgaria, Swiss Confederation, the Netherlands, Qatar, Japan, Croatia, Georgia, United Arab Emirates United and Norway.<\/p>\n\n

But how about Transnistria?<\/h3>\n

At the same meeting, the polling stations were set up for voters from the localities on the left bank of Nistru, Bender and some suburbs in Causeni district.<\/p>\n

Thus, for the uninominal constituency no. 47, the towns of Camenca, R\u00eebni\u0163a, Dub\u0103sari and Grigoriopol 22 polling stations will be organized, and for the uninominal district no. 48, the town of Slobozia, the municipalities of Tiraspol and Bender – 25 polling stations.<\/p>\n

The parliamentary elections to be held on 24 February will take place on the basis of the mixed electoral system, with 51 deputies being elected on uninominal constituencies and 50 on party lists.<\/p>\n

On the same day, an advisory referendum will be held, where voters will be able to answer the two questions already set out: “Are you for reducing the number of Members in Parliament from 101 to 61?<\/strong>” and “Are you for citizens’ rights to dismiss the deputies if they do not properly fulfill their obligations?<\/strong>“<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
