The government in Bucharest, flanked by Russia&#8217;s loyal friends in Budapest, refuses ostensibly to admit anti-democratic slippages in Chisinau, placing itself on the oligarch&#8217;s side to the detriment of the citizens &#8211; a sad triumph of the centenary year&#8221; in a joint statement by Maia Sandu and Andrei N\u0103stase, posted on Facebook.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>&#8220;After the PSD-ALDE political party&#8217;s PD-PSRM political cartel, following the change of the electoral system to the benefit of the pro-Russian party in Moldova, after the moral support offered by Dragnea to Plahotniuc with the invalidation of the Chisinau elections won by pro-European and pro-Romanian government, the government in Bucharest decided to block a critical report on Plahotniuc&#8217;s regime, to be adopted by the Foreign Ministers of the European Union.
