The Action and Solidarity Party<\/a> (PAS) leader Maia Sandu believes that the salary increases promised by the Government resemble the electoral campaign<\/em>. In this respect, she remarked that the state does not have the money for the so-called wage increases granted to Moldovan citizens.<\/p>\n

“Why only two months before the election? Where are they getting the money from? As far as we know, this government has deprived us of European Union’s assistance. This is an electoral campaign. They had to do this long time ago,” declared Sandu during the Adev\u0103rul Live Moldova program<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“People are fleeing the country and employers no longer have workers. These increased salaries might only be paid until the elections,” Sandu concluded.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Reminder:<\/strong> The Democratic Party has come up with a new project on the verge of parliamentary elections. PD leader and oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc announced a salary reform, stating that the government would raise public sector salaries from 20% to 90%.<\/em><\/p>\n

Moreover, Maia Sandu criticized PDM’s initiative to hold a referendum on the inclusion of the phrase “European integration” in the Constitution. Sandu states that besides the fact that there is a risk of people’s absence at the voting, the idea of an European integration will be terminated.<\/p>\n

“If the Democratic Party (PDM) wants to definitively or permanently kill the European path of the Republic of Moldova, then they would definitely go forth with this referendum, because one can not put such an important topic to discussion.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
