Previously in December 2017, the\u00a0OSCE representatives were scheduled to present a report on the activity of the neighboring peacekeeping checkpoints (11 right and 11 left), but also the unilateral deployment by Tiraspol of\u00a0<em>new infrastructure, force structures\u00a0<\/em>and the\u00a0increase of the latter before the entrance of the bridge.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press-release of the <a href=\"http:\/\/gov.md\/ro\/content\/un-pas-pozitiv-activitatea-comisiei-unificate-de-control\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moldovan delegation to JCC<\/a>, the representatives of the separatist administration and the Russian delegation accepted to discuss reports on the &#8220;border checkpoints&#8221; installed by the Transnistrians. The Transnistrian delegation <a href=\"https:\/\/novostipmr.com\/ru\/news\/18-01-18\/obedinyonnaya-kontrolnaya-komissiya-ocenila-obstanovku-v-zone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported\u00a0another point<\/a> to be included in the discussions: a &#8220;Moldovan terminal near Dorotskaya village&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The next meeting of the JCC is scheduled for 25 January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>In the opening protocol, Chi\u0219in\u0103u and Tiraspol\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/bridge-nistru-river-opened-end-november\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">committed<\/a>\u00a0to not use Gura B\u00eecului-B\u00eecioc bridge for military goals<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and offered the Joint Control Commission the authority to open the bridge. However, it appears that the separatist authorities ignore the principle of free movement of people and goods between the two banks.\u00a0The Transnistrian authorities apparently already activated a customs control checkpoint in B\u00eecioc which will most probably obstruct the free movement.
