The new secretaries are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Iulia Costin- Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure;<\/li>\n<li>Anatolie Munteanu- Ministry of Justice;<\/li>\n<li>Mihail C\u0103p\u0103\u021b\u00een\u0103- Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration;<\/li>\n<li>Radu Burduja- Ministry of Defense;<\/li>\n<li>Boris G\u00eelca- Ministry of Health, Work, and Social Protection;<\/li>\n<li>Igor \u0218arov- Ministry of Education, Culture and Research;<\/li>\n<li>Iurie U\u0219urelu- Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development, and Environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prime-Minister Pavel Filip welcomed the new Government officials, mentioning that their appointing would be an important step in depoliticizing institutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The general secretaries are public servants and are going to lead the institutional memory ahead. The secretaries have nothing but to concentrate only on the activity of the ministries, in order to ensure the implementation of the governance plan and the national action plan for implementing the Association Agreement&#8221;<\/em>, underlined Filip.<\/p>\n<p>Filip announced that the deadline for the applications for positions of general secretaries within the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance has been extended.<\/p>\n<p>The central administration reform adopted on 21 July stipulates that the Government members will be reduced, their responsibilities will be stated more clearly.
