The investigation of the airplane registered in Moldova is currently in process\/\/ VIDEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span><p>According to preliminary information obtained through the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Paris, the aviation accident occurred yesterday morning at 8:45 am after a failed attempt to land the aircraft at the Abidjan airport due to bad weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The collapsed aircraft&#8217;s\u00a0flight was meant for the French Army and had ten people aboard, including six citizens of the Republic of Moldova and four citizens of the French Republic.<\/p>\n<p>According to the data obtained from the Ivorian authorities, four Moldovan citizens died as a result of the accident and the other two were taken over by the French Army for the provision of medical care.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry maintains contact with the Ivorian and French authorities to establish the identities of the Moldovans involved in the accident and will undertake all the necessary actions required in such situations.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation team within the AAC of the Republic of Moldova is leaving urgently to Cote d&#8217;Ivoire in order to participate as observers in the investigation of the causes of the air accident involving AN 26 aircraft registered in the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n<p>The Civil Aeronautical Authority of the Republic of Moldova was informed by the Cote d&#8217;Ivoire authorities of the occurrence of an aircraft accident near Abidjan Airport on 14 October.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span>According to Reuters, four Moldovans were killed and two were injured when a propeller-driven Russian-made Antonov cargo plane chartered by the French Army crashed in rough weather into the sea near the international airport in Ivory Coast&#8217;s main city, Abidjan, on October 14.
