The main focus of the talks was obviously the respect for human rights in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Despite several reports of HR violations, Krasnoselsky claimed that violations are almost nonexistent in the so-called Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;In (our) state, everyone is subordinate to the law- from President to the regular citizen,- the cases of human rights violations are practically excluded&#8221;,<\/em> a<em>\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/president.gospmr.org\/press-sluzhba\/novosti\/vadim-krasnoseljskiy-vstretilsya-s-komissarom-soveta-evropi-po-pravam-cheloveka-nilsom-muyjnieksom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release of the presidency<\/a> quotes Krasnoselsky.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Suspecting that the Chi\u0219in\u0103u authorities might have told Muiznieks something different, Krasnoselsky invited him to ask questions about any moments\u00a0<em>concerning the Moldovan party<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In his turn, the Commissioner showed interest towards the situation of human rights in the Transnistrian prisons and about the domestic violence cases. Muiznieks also drew attention to the rights of people with disabilities and the opportunity to involve them in the education system.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens complained over 70 times to the European Court of Human Rights because of human rights violations in the Transnistrian region.
