Yesterday, the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) has filed a criminal complaint against the actions of Igor Dodon on behalf of the Prosecutor General. By this denunciation, Igor Dodon was requested to be held criminally responsible for committing the offense of betrayal of the Homeland and the offense of stigmatizing national, ethnic, racial or religious disunity.<\/p>\n

“Hence the provisions of the Constitution of the country and the assumed oath, the citizen Igor Dodon acts contrary to the interests of the Republic of Moldova, openly promoting the interests of another state – the Russian Federation”<\/em>, the party’s statement says.<\/p>\n

PAS mentioned that these actions, among others, are circumscribed to the constitutive elements of the Homeland Treason crime.<\/p>\n

Also, according to PAS, Igor Dodon, through his actions of ethnic, language and religion divisions made for himself and for the party, seriously damages the consolidation of the Moldovan society and unity of the citizens in order to achieve a common goal, violating Article 346 Of the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously with the request for criminal prosecution, the Prosecutor General was asked to file a complaint with the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in order to prosecute Igor Dodon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
