Additionally, besides the renewal of the roadway, the curbs were also changed, as well as the adjoining streets adjacent to the entrances to the residential courtyards and adjacent areas. After completion of these works, new road markings will be applied. It is noteworthy that the large-scale reconstruction of the roads is carried out simultaneously on the 5 streets of Orhei: Junimii, Maxim Gorki, Sportivilor, Alexandru cel Bun and the road Maxim Gorki, arteries that interact with the main street Vasile Lupu and are located in the adjacent area Orhei Lake.<\/p>\n

High-quality building materials are used for the extensive reconstruction of the roads. In total, over 2,000 tons of asphalt will be used.<\/p>\n

Also, at the indication of Ilan Shor, it will soon be procured its own asphalt and pavement plant, which will reduce costs, create new jobs, but will also allow the city to pave the roads with its own production.<\/p>\n

Thus, Orhei becomes the only city in the country that not only modernizes and implements major infrastructure projects but also uses its own human, technical and financial resources.<\/p>\n

Infrastructure development, including roads and sidewalks, is a priority for the Mayor Ilan Shor and his team.<\/p>\n

According to the action plan promoted by the Mayor of Orhei in 2017, the works of modernization and rehabilitation of the roads will continue on the streets of Vasile Mahu, Gheorghe Asachi, Ciprian Porumbescu, Chisinau, Renasterii Nationale, Doina and Ion Aldea Teodorovici, Parfionov and the street that leads to the Jewish Cemetery (the cemetery will also be landscaped), as well as the streets of Constantin Brancusi, Dimo Street and the road to Ivanos Park.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the main artery of Orhei, Vasile Lupu Street, will enter into the major repair and modernization.<\/p>\n

We remind that in the last two years, with the arrival of Ilan Shor, as the mayor of Orhei, about 30 kilometers of road and six kilometers of sidewalks were rebuilt, and in some parts of the city where the streets were practically non-existent, they were paved for the first time.<\/p>\n
