The new law would stipulate clear definitions of positions, powers and domains of activity within the Government, as well as reduce the number of Ministries <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/moldova-democrats-propose-reduce-number-ministries-16-9-insist-uninominal-system-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">from 16 to 9<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Prime-Minister Pavel Filip <a href=\"http:\/\/gov.md\/ro\/content\/cabinetul-de-ministri-aprobat-reforma-guvernului\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">defended<\/a> the draft law claiming that there would a delimitation between political positions and administrative positions, giving the example of eliminating the Vice-Minister position and putting State Secretaries instead. Filip promised to come up with the list of the new Ministers one month after the final vote of the Moldovan Parliament.
