Moreover, juridical adviser Maxim Lebedinschi transmitted the draft to Simona Granata-Mighini, the Deputy Secretary General of the European Commission for Democracy through Law.<\/p>\n<p>Dodon says that all European officials, all institutions that supervise the elections and that are under the scope of elections have been informed about the\u00a0<em>inadmissibility of the switch to the uninominal vote\u00a0<\/em>(majoritarian system- Moldova.ORG),\u00a0<em>as it is planned by the Parliamentary majority led by the Democratic Party and Plahotniuc.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>However, the President forgets that he and his Socialists refused to sign the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/moldovan-opposition-makes-joint-declaration-new-electoral-system-socialists-liberals-refuse-sign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">joint statement of the opposition<\/a> against the switch to the majoritarian system.<\/p>\n<p>Dodon\u2019s initiative states that the 101 members of the Moldova Parliament would be elected in two ways: 51 deputies from party lists and 50 from single-member districts, including 25 representing Transnistria and the diaspora. The voters from Transnistria will be able to vote in the Parliamentary elections in voting centers on the right bank of Nistru, controlled by the Government of Moldova and monitored by the Central Electoral Commission. The voting would reportedly be open for two days in the voting centers from abroad, in order to ensure facilitated access to Moldovan voters of the diaspora. Moreover, each voting center would get up to 5000 voting bulletins, comparing to the previous 3000.
