Krasnoselsky and Karasin touched upon the 5+2 dialogue format in the conflict settlement between the constitutional authorities of Moldova and the separatist authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Karasin emphasized that Russia insists on making the 5+2 dialogue more frequent and focusing it on\u00a0<em>basic needs of Transnistrian people<\/em>, rather than theoretical questions:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Russia, as a guarantee state, mediator, intends to reinforce its participation, and we insist that the international 5+2 format should be convened more frequently and that it should discuss, not some temporary, theoretical messages, but fully down-to-earth needs of the Pridnestrovian people, Pridnestrovian structure. All of this is doable, there are no extraordinary requests&#8221;,\u00a0<\/em>declared the diplomat.<\/p>\n<p>Krasnoselsky only had to confirm that his administration is a supporter of any format, be it 1+1 or 5+2,\u00a0<em>not only for dialogue,\u00a0<\/em>but for practical solutions to concrete questions on both sides- Moldovan one and Transnistrian one.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/president.gospmr.ru\/im.xp\/050055054052.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Asked by a journalist about\u00a0the\u00a0<em>problem<\/em>\u00a0of the opening of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/moldova-pm-pavel-filip-agrees-ukraine-pm-groysman-introduce-three-joint-border-checkpoints\/\" target=\"_blank\">joint Moldo-Ukrainian checkpoint at Cuciurgan<\/a>, Karasin responded that the\u00a0<em>understandable\u00a0<\/em>discontent attitude of Transnistrian authorities can be discussed during the 5+2 dialogue together with Ukraine. He expressed hope that a new round of 5+2 discussions would be soon organized.
