The preliminary counting of Moldova&#8217;s population might be\u00a0rather misleading, taking in account the emigrants and the UNFPA data.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.statistica.md\/libview.php?l=ro&amp;idc=168&amp;id=5523\" target=\"_blank\">press-release of the Bureau<\/a>, 57,3% of the population is rural, whole 42,7% lives in the urban areas.
