Over 500 soldiers of the National Army of Moldova accepted<\/a> the 22 Push-Up Challenge as a sign of solidarity with soldiers suffering from the Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.<\/p>\n

Officers and subofficers of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion, the Special Destination Battalion, the Guard Battalion, the students of the “Alexandru cel Bun” Military Academy, soldiers of the National Army and the peace-keepers of Kosovo-based KFOR mission, did 22 push-ups each and challenged their colleagues from the United States, Romania and KFOR mission.<\/p>\n

22 Push-Up Challenge is a challenged launched in 2011 to raise awareness on the topic of suicide against war veterans. 22 stands for the number of daily suicides among the US veterans. Thus, the participants in the challenge must do 22 push-ups every day out of 22 days in a row.<\/p>\n
