Harunjen would not have the right to be a candidate, because the law prohibits members of the Council to participate in the contest. Moreover, the members of the Prosecutors&#8217; Council would not have the right to judge the contest either, since they were not detached from their usual positions, thus being subordinated to Harunjen, interim Prosecutor General in much of 2016.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;This seat\u00a0has to be filled by a person compatible with the position, in a transparent way.
