The European Union will not accept a discussion in trilateral format- Moldova, EU and Russia- on the Association Agreement signed with the Republic of Moldova. The question regards only Chi\u0219in\u0103u and Brussels, says a response of the EU Delegation to Moldova to MoldNova<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The statement of the EU delegation comes in the context of President Dodon’s declaration at Moscow<\/a> that the Association Agreement has not brought little or any benefits to Moldova, but also Vladimir Putin aggressive proposal<\/a> to review the contract together with Russia.<\/p>\n

“The implementation of the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area is an issue of the European Union, the member states and the Republic of Moldova”,\u00a0<\/em>the press response specifies.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the EU comes with statistics in defending the agreement. As resulting from the Association Agreement and the corresponding DCFTA, the EU became the main trade partner for Moldova, representing 62% of total Moldovan exports.<\/p>\n

The EU Delegation mentions that Brussels awaits with impatience Dodon’s visit.<\/p>\n
