The main export countries were\u00a0<strong>Moldova<\/strong>&#8211; 46%, Ukraine- 12%, Romania- 11% and the Russian Federation- 9%.<\/p>\n<p>The Transnistrian Customs Committee noticed a downward dynamic of the trade with Russia: from 2013 when the trade with Russia was worth 1,067 billion USD it got to only 465 billion USD in 2016. Despite this situation, the newly-elected separatist leader Vadim Krasnoselski several times advocated for further economic integration with Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.
