The security institution actually came to its original format, when formed by the Vladimir Antyufeyev, known as Shevtsov or Alexandrov.<\/p>\n<p>The Transnistrian laws on security, border guard, extremism, terrorism fight provide the legal basis for this security ministry, without clearly stating the responsibilities, right and obligations of this institution. To sum it up, the so-called MGB could conduct activities on ensuring the security of the region, the fight against terrorism, defending and protecting the frontier, ensuring the informational security in Transnistria and forming the directions of activity of the security organs.<\/p>\n<p>The MGB would take account only of the regional constitution, local laws and the principles of international law implemented in Transnistria. Although it confirms that it must apply the principles of humanism, legality, human rights and citizens&#8217; interest, there is no mechanism legally provided for MGB to ensure those principles, especially the right for private life.<\/p>\n<p>MGB could form its branches in any security institution of the so-called Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic: army, border control, special forces, external information research organs.
